At ARUK 2022, Ian took part in a podcast for Dementia Researcher. This is a website and podcast created as a response to the Prime Ministers Challenge on Dementia. Their aim is to provide information and support for Early Career Dementia Researchers both domestic and international. They share job and funding opportunities, science, careers and other research content (see below).

Ian was interviewed by Adam Smith to create a researcher profile and podcast interview.

"In my research, I'm interested in tau and alpha-synuclein, and how this [the glymphatic] system could possibly be used as a therapeutic response in Alzheimer's disease and Parkinson's disease."

"The Dementia Researcher website and podcast were launched in March 2018, in response to the Prime Ministers Challenge on Dementia.

Supported by funding from the National Institute for Health Research, Alzheimer's Research UK and Alzheimer's Society - Dementia Researcher is an international service, based within the Queen Square Dementia Biomedical Research Centre at University College London - led by Programme Director Adam Smith, and Professor Martin Rossor.

The website and companion podcast aim to provide information and support for Early Career Dementia Researchers, based within the UK and across the world. It consolidates listings of available funding opportunities, jobs and events and shares relevant science, careers, and research content from other sources. " - Dementia Researcher website
